Wedding season is here....

Alongside undertaking my teacher training and various photography commissions, I am shooting a few weddings this year.

Here are some pictures from Phil and Becks wedding taken a couple of weeks ago. It had all the ingredients needed for an amazing day. Suffolk countryside, beautiful weather, an old barn, champagne, welly wanging, live music and a lovely crowd of people.

You know you have made it when....

Above: First, second and third in the adult category-'A flower'
Below: The children's category- ' Mini Beasts'

Last weekend I was asked to judge the village photography competition. This is it I thought, I have made it to the top!  I don't need much of an excuse to head along to a village fete with my camera, so to be officially invited was even better. Hopefully this will be my first of many appearances as a photographic judge!

Rugby and pimms

Well I spent yesterday watching my boy play rugby and thought I would take my camera along to keep busy while the boys got bruised and sweaty. My experienced was far removed from that of shooting rugby for the paper on those cold wet winter days. Summer rugby is definitely more like it, 28 degrees and drinking pimms, I could get use to this!

A drive in Winston

Well summer is officially here so I thought I would take dad's lovely Austin A40 Sports for a drive on the Suffolk lanes this afternoon. I love this little spot at this time of year, with the Poppies in full bloom. Photographing flowers isn't normally my thing but I think you will agree they are quite lovely:)
