August in Whitstable....all things purple

This week I have been down to Whitstable for the first of twelve shoots I am doing over the coming year. The photographs will be used in a book about seasonal fruits from the garden, with words from gardener and writer Francine Raymond.

August is about all things purple....damsons, plums, sweet peas and lavender.
